About MLSGO
MLSGO is Major League Soccer’s recreational youth soccer program with the mission of creating an inclusive and elevated experience for all participants. Fun and affordability are at the heart of MLS GO with a program that has been designed to increase participation and enable more kids to play soccer.
MLSGO is offered to all children ages 4-14. Whether destined for the professional ranks or looking to get their initial experience in the sport, MLSGO is the first step in the pathway, where all can learn fundamental soccer skills and develop a lasting love of the game.

MLSGO League Details
PLAY DATES:
- During the fall games primarily take place on Saturday’s with some double header weekends (Sat/Sun).
- Saturday’s 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14
- Sunday’s: 9/17
- NO Playoffs
- EOS Rain Date: 10/28 & 10/29
- MLSGO reserves the right to reschedule postponed games to Sundays or during week in the event of weather cancellation or other Force Majeure.
TEAM FORMATION:
- Boys U-5 Division
- Girls U-5 Division
- Boys U-7 Division
- Girls U-7 Division
- Players will assigned to teams by 8/31/23 (Coach & League official) will communicate to all families via email)
- Balance of teams and league parity is the priority of the league.
- Carpool/friend requests will be taken into consideration when making teams.
- Players will be assigned to teams according to age, skill level, and experience.
***No travel level players with more than 2yrs are permitted to play in this MLSGO league.
VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED:
Coaching is a great opportunity to volunteer, give back to the game and connect with your child and their friends. All coaches are provided adidas coaching shirts each season and provided an online coaching curriculum with printable training session plans.

GAME SCHEDULES:
- Age Groups: schedules are expected to be released closer to the season
- The league cannot honor any schedule conflict requests, but will do our best to accommodate coaches with two teams.
GAME TIMES:
The league will schedule game times between Saturdays (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM) & Sundays (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Schedules may vary week-to-week due to facility availability, weather conditions, rainouts etc.
GAME FORMAT:
- U-5 3v3 (max roster size 6)
- U-7 4v4 (max roster size 7)
- 40 minute games 4x10 mins
TRAINING DAYS:
U5 & U7 Age Groups Boys and Girls:
The U5 & U7 age groups are expected to train 1x prior to the league start. A specific day and time is assigned by the league, typically in the 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM time slot.
COACHES MEETING:
- Mandatory coaches meetings will be held on TBA.
- Links to be emailed out one week prior to meeting.
PARENTS MEETING U5 & U7:
- A pre recorded informational video/presentation will be emailed to all families the week of 8/30/23.
- Live Q&A Remote Drop In Session with League Leadership will take place on TBA.
- Links to be emailed out one week prior to meeting.
REFUND POLICY:
- Refunds may be requested through to 9/5/23, however a $25 admin fee will be applied to all refunds.
- After 9/5/23 a player may withdraw from the league but no refund can be issued.
MLS GO does not guarantee a minimum number of games and is not responsible for games and practices lost due to weather and/or field conditions. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued due to games lost because of weather and/or field conditions.
AGE GROUP CHART & League Official
The league manages age groups based upon 'Birth Year' not calendar year. This change is directed from our national governing body US Soccer. Each age group is managed by a volunteer Age Group Commissioner (AGC); AGC’s oversee the team formation process, which includes coach & player assignments.
